• Play at a reasonable pace.
• Have the player who is farthest away from the pin hit first on each shot.
• Let the winner of the previous hole tee off first at the next tee.
• Don't step on your fellow players putting lines -- the imaginary line that connects the ball to the hole.
• Don't make any noise when your fellow player is preparing to putt.
• Don't swing your club until the area around you has been cleared of people. You do not want to risk hitting a fellow golfer.
• If you find that your ball is heading in the direction of another player or group of players, be sure to yell "Fore!" to signal that they should be watchful of your incoming golf ball.
• Don’t lose cool. Displays of frustration are one thing, but outbursts of temper are quite another. Yelling, screaming, throwing clubs or otherwise making a fool of yourself are unacceptable and, in some cases, dangerous to yourself and others.
